Abstract

This paper provides a comprehensive review of the employed to address skill gaps in the health care industry, including the integration of artificial intelligence (AI). With the evolving landscape of healthcare delivery and the increasing demand for quality patient care, bridging skill gaps among healthcare professionals has become imperative. Through a systematic review of literature, this paper examines different strategies and interventions implemented to identify, assess, and mitigate skill gaps among health care workers in health settings. The review encompasses diverse aspects such as training programs, continuing education initiatives, workforce development policies, and technological innovations, including AI applications, aimed at enhancing skills and competencies within the healthcare workforce. By synthesizing existing research findings, this review offers insights into the effectiveness, challenges, and potential areas for improvement in addressing skill gaps in the health care industry while leveraging AI to augment healthcare delivery.
